HV 0,1 hardness indentation, diagonal approx. 15 µm, on Coatings
New feature in Pro-Command: A further adaptation of the automatic measurement of Vickers indentations in the hardness testing software Pro-Command now also evaluates very small impressions in coatings.
The tests were carried out using the Vickers method with a test load of 0.1 kgf on the new Pro-Genius Vickers hardness testing machine. The measurement was performed with a 6.4 MP mono USB camera, analog zoom technology and 20x basic lens. The diagonal length is approx. 15 µm.
In order to better demonstrate the evaluation, we manually move the measurement marks in order to have them automatically positioned again. This adaptation again expands the application range of the fully automatic hardness testing software Pro-Command.
