As part of this modernization, the entire control and regulation electronics of the testing machine are replaced by a state-of-the-art programmable logic controller (PLC). For example, defective parts are replaced with robust and improved components that come with long-term availability guarantees.

The new stepper motor control and the newly installed auto stage motors ensure a faster and quieter testing process.

The automatic hardness testing machine is operated using Pro-Command, the hardness testing software developed by Pro-K Prüftechnik. Its numerous features, the clearly structured and flexible testing workflow, and the professional options for data management and server installation elevate the machine to today’s standards—and beyond.

The hardness testing machine type UH250 from the manufacturer Buehler can now also be modernized with the modern hardness testing software Pro-Command.

The test procedure remains fully automated, with load control, autofocus, and automatic evaluation of the test indentations. The software support contract ensures that Pro-Command is always up to date with the latest operating environment and standards. New features are continuously added through annual software updates.

Retrofitting hardness testing machines for individual tests is now possible with the new Pro-Command Touch version. The touch version has been optimized for use on touchscreens, but can also be used on conventional monitors. With its clear, well-structured appearance, Pro-Command Touch simplifies the testing process for single measurements on both manual and automatic hardness testing machines.

• The clear color coding of the test results in red and green provides direct information about the classification of the measurement.

• Popular features such as fast lanes, job management, and test programs are also available.

• Installation as a network solution with server management and import and export functions is possible.

• Remeasurements of existing indentations or the extension of a test job with new test indentations are possible at any time.

One database for all hardness testers. All test results are stored centrally in a database with a professional database service.

Management Screen

Access to test results vie network PCs with reading license. No direct connection to the hardness tester necessary.

Implementation KB 30 S

Integration of the automatic hardness tester type KB 30 S in Pro-Command.

Test process with manual turret head

Implementation of testing machines with manual turrets in the testing process. The hardness testing software asks the user to turn the turret head at a given point.

Simultaneous Test Process

Two or more hardness testers are installed in one client. After the test orders have been scheduled, all machines run simultaneously.
